Hi People ,
have got two questions ,
1)
my wife will be applying her naturalisation starting next week and was just wondering if she can travel overseas for 1-2 month holiday trip after that or otherwise ? is there a legal requirement to stay in UK after applying naturalisation ?
2)
In the past address's question does she need to provide 3 year or 5 year adds as she is applying as a spouse of BC ??
will be looking forward for your advise plz ...

1) I wouldn't go personally unless there's a pressing reason. Three reasons:
a) If you are applying without going via NCS - UKBA will have your passport
b) Even if you have your passport, if there's a problem, you won't be able to respond
c) If there's an issue abroad which traps you there - the 90 days to attend a ceremony could expire and you'd waste your money.
Just have some patience - either wait to do the application or wait for the holiday - why cause unnecessary problems?
2) The form clearly says the last 5 years and gives no discretion.

So wait to do the application then ... it won't kill you to apply a few weeks later will it?

if the rules, forms (and fees) won't change in the meantime
to the OP: it fully depends on your priorities: holidays or BC? up to you
Good Luck

don't know if it is legal requirement, but:
you are giving contact phone number, email and address while applying
if HO needs to clarify something you have to be contactable
and there is only 3 weeks time to send additional documents if requested
plus it is distant posibility of interview carried on HO behalf by the police at your home
if you add all the above, I think it is quite obvious she should stay in the UK for a while after applying
