Gap of two months between Visas

I am going to apply for my ILR on 10th January 2012.
I was granted a work permit for the period – 7th Nov 2007 – 7the May 2009
I was then granted a Tier-1 Visa for the period – 6th July 2009 – 6th July 2012

My question is – Does it matter if there was a gap of about two months between my work permit expiry and the new Tier-1 visa issue? Will I have to submit any documents for this?

(Btw, this 2 months period elapsed as my application for new Tier-1 was under consideration for 6-7 weeks and finally got rejected. Thereafter, I (my lawyer) filed an appeal against the decision so that I can stay for a few more days until I got a PEO appointment and finally got the Tier-1 visa issued on 6th July 2009.)

Thanks in advance :)

If you'd withdrew your appeal then it is considered as break in continuity

What is the date/reason for rejection? It should be in the decision letter.

I dont remember the exact date of rejection I am afraid but it was in the last week of June. The reason was that i did not submit suffcient documents.

1. Start your own thread/discussion/topic.

2. State your problem with as much detail as possible.
