Hello All,

I got Tier 2 general VISA today and need guidance for preparing for ILR.

My VISA timelines so far:

April 2015 to Sep 2017 --> Tier 2 General (Applied Tier 1 Entrepreneur Nov 2017 - 200K route due to employer making me redundant)
Jan 2018 to Feb 2020 --> Tier 1 Entrepreneur
Feb 2020 --> Mar 2021 --> Tier2 General granted (Employment starting date is 19-FEB-2020)

Completing 5 years in April 2020 and I have the below questions
1. When should I apply for ILR ?
2. Guidance on what all documents I should start collating ? I have NARIC UK, planning to do Life in UK soon, Bank statement for 3 months to support dependents, Employer Letter, Marriage certificate for dependents. Anything else ?

Thanks
Shak

You have reset your clock when you switched to Tier1 in Jan 2018.

Now you can apply in Feb 2025 !

Ok i might be wrong, there seems to be a way to get ILR if you are applying via Tier2 . Experts can give their opinion.

Thanks. Elaborating my initial queries

1. I am completing 4 year 11 month in mar (will have 2 payslips, for 11 days in Feb and full month for march). Can I apply for ILR with 2 months payslip in march or better to wait till April/May 2020 ?

2. What all documents I should start preparing so all is ready for ILR (example NARIC, Life in UK etc)
