I dont know how to post a new question so I am asking in a reply if anyone can help. Applying for ilr set M on a 5 year route. The question is we are using the online form so how and when and where do we send the original documents? And what documents and photocopies do we need to send. If anyone can help please. Much appreciated. Many thanks

Nothing is posted to HO anymore. You scan and upload your documents on the UKCVAS portal before your biometric appointment date.

Stick to your own post. DO NOT tag the same question all over the other posts :!:

Go to your local library, it will be free there.

I'd say yes depending on what app you use, but it's better to use a scanner if you can. A little bit of effort now could save you the hassle/cost/time of having to re-scan at the appointment.

A simple A4 page scanned by a phone will probably be fine. But you may want to be aware of curvature around edges which may make text hard to read, as sometimes bank statements have small text at the bottom or edges. Also, when you scan your passport, you don't want your fingers holding open every page!

You can upload any file that's supported and within the filesize limits which are quite small. I recommend PDF.

I did the scans from my phone. I used the free Microsoft office lens app available on the playstore
Suggest taking pictures in good day light without flash

You should see a checklist of documents when you submit your application along with instructions on where to upload them
