Spouse visa late entry date

Hi,
I'm a bit confused with regards to the next move for my spouse visa.
First spouse visa valid from the 16/06/2015 to 16/03/2018.
Entry date to UK : 22/09/2015.
Visa extension approved and valid from 02/03/2018 to 16/09/2020.
Looks like, I cannot mathematically spend 05 years in UK, unless the duration is calculated from the date of the visa not the entry.
Do I need to extend my stay to complete the required 05 years ?
When I qualify to apply for ILR ?
Thanks for your help.
Kind regards

You form FLR M for en extension. Form SET M is for ilr.

Your spouse qualifies for ilr no sooner than within 28 days before the 5th anniversary of the date she entered the UK, so 22/9/20 minus 28 days.

There is no requirement to have a valid visa right up to the 5 year mark.

Date of application is the date you submit and pay online. So you should be fine.

Don't forget English B1 and LIUK tests.
