if i didnt provide them would that be a problem? how much should i show the balance of statements? why i have to show payslips? and P60 etc??? what is the purpose? coz i never seen anywhere else that before?
You are getting worried for nothing. Just include what's been asked in the SET(O) 10A, 10S and if you dont have all your passports then 10T as well.Im bit worried now...coz i was traveling, last nearly 6 months(not more). so i left the job also, i won't be able to show my payslips if so....neither bank statements, coz now im nearly broke and just got back to a temporary job etc....
Many Thanx Adam, no i did not asked for SAR, should i do it? . i always sent my passport to HO atleast day before visa expires, there are couple of gaps between visas, one gap is even 3 months, but its because of HO took time to stamp the visa.It was never a my fault. I was never away during those periods, I applied for visa and stayed in the UK.adamboston wrote:if i didnt provide them would that be a problem? how much should i show the balance of statements? why i have to show payslips? and P60 etc??? what is the purpose? coz i never seen anywhere else that before?
You do not need to provide non-mandatory docs if you dont want to. The reason I am going to include these docs to show my employment record, the tax and NI I have been paying in past (to demonstrate strong connections) etc.

To apply under 10 years long residency you are required to be lawfully in the UK for 10 years, no visa gaps, no more than 6 months at single occasion or 18 months in total absences, no criminal convictions and Life in the UK or relevant ESOL qualification. I hope you have already consulted theUKBA Long Residence document and have order your SAR file.
Good Luck
Why not apply for SAR it would only cost you 10 quid and give you enormous peace of mind.coolnsblue wrote:no i did not asked for SAR, should i do it? .

coolnsblue wrote:Hello everyone,
I have applied for my ILR under 10 years rule about 8 weeks ago. After long wait I received a letter from UKBA asking more documents,
In my application form I have included a covering letter mentioning that "After10 years, I feel very much settled and adapted to life in Britainwhich I now consider to be my home, where I live with my partner of 3years and where my social circle is based. "
Could anyone please tell me, does it sounds like that I have been living with him for 3 years? Simply I meant that I live with my partner OF 3 years, now UKBA asking documents evidence to show that we have been residing together for 3 years. We never thought we have to prove our relationship to anyone, as I'm already elgible for 10 years rule. So we didnt prepare for it. He is self sufficient didn't work for last 3 years, but before that he worked 6 years in UK and paid tax accordingly. He never used his official address with me so he has a different official address, we don't have any joint documents either, also where he stays with me is my shared accomodation is under my name, he also juggling between UK and Swiss because of me, but certainly he stays at my place when ever he is in UK, often atleast 7 days to 14 days per month. We don't have any documents what so ever addressd to the same address.
could anyone please tell me, how to approach UKBA now, with my situation. What documents I needed to show now and why?. I didnt mention in my covering letter he is an Europian National or any details about him. So now They also asks my partners original passportl. He worries if he might stuck here without passport for a long term. please tell me, all ur thought. I'm in really confused situation.
