UKBA Contact Number

Post by flamenco » Fri Aug 14, 2009 12:58 pm

Hi there

Is there a telephone number to contact H.O to check the status of my Tier1 extension application? I tried 0870-606-7766and 0114-207-4077 and both refused to give a response saying that its not the correct number to check the status of my application. Is there any other number that I can call on?

Which option to select? option one which is apparently the relevant option gives an automated message to contact 0114-207-4074 again and when you call on that number they advise you to call on 0870-606-7766. I have gone through it multiple times now.

There isn't any male voice coming up unfortunately. I kept waiting for good two mins and than someone picked up the phone and advised me to call the same number again which I did and ended up to the same thing again :(((

It is weird indeed. I am calling from a landline number and I did try it many times actually from the last one week. The same thing happens time & time again. I am getting a bit nervous now as today is the 20th day since I submitted my application and from what I saw on trakitt is that usually successful applicants are getting their documents back within 20 days at the max.

After a long wait, a lady picked up the phone and refused to give me an update until 14 weeks are passed. Anyone approved is getting documents back within 3 weeks. Its scary really

Is that 6weeks or 14weeks.. HO dont give any status update till 6weeks are completed in most cases..

please check this thread and put your timelines also

it helps you and others to track each others application status within UK
