It was also suggested to me to supply all the below documentation. The solicitor I used said the more documentation to support the information in my application the better.
Academic records as proof of qualifications and skills you can bring to the UK. Also as proof that I did study and gained the appropriate application.
Land registry cert as proof of home ownership, along with mortgage statements. Owning a home is an added bonus for a ILR application as it proves commitment, but not a necessity (not all of us can afford to own our homes). Admittedly this did take me by surprise when I was asked for this as I had
10 years worth of mortgage statements as proof but if it is going to add credence to your application.
Payslips were on the UKBA "supporting documents" list. Especially if you worked your entire stay and weren't a "
10 year student". I also used them as proof of my residency. If you are wary of providing these 'coz you broke the 20 hour rule as a student then shame on you

I was also asked to provide a letter from my employer(s) but didn't because of the hassle of obtaining anything from HR.
Bank statements - once again on the UKBA document list. Recent 3 months worth. It was suggest that I proved statements for my entire stay but that would have been impossible. Imagine going into your bank and asking for
10 years worth of statements!!
I'm glad I took the solicitor's advice and provided beyond what was asked for because the reasons for rejects, I have recently read, my immediate thoughts have been "I've could be rejected for that!!! But thank God I've included xxxx".
But I wouldn't worry if you haven't provided extra documentation. I think it was Foxy that pointed out that "rejects" heard almost immediately and that maybe the
long wait is a positive as you've past the initial stage. I personally subscribe to that theory.
Congrats Croydon on finally getting your ILR. Hopefully this will bring hope to the others that have been waiting a
long time.
I'm back to hiding again. Just killing time on a Sunday afternoon and thought I would check up on how you guys were getting on

Me too (a bit confused)....All these certificates may not be necessarily required with a standard/straightforward
10 year ILR application esp.
1. All Academic certificates: A lot of my friends who have applied for
10 year ILR have either not sent any or only sent Academic certificate of the last College they had (or are still) attending and not all (
10 year) academic certificates with their ILR application(s)....
2. Pay slips - Isn't there a slight chance that sending pay slips of all jobs done in the past perhaps even make HO start making enquiries whether a person may have exceeded 20 hours work limit in any given week in the last
10 years (if the person applying has spent all
10 years on a student visa)?
3. Land Registry Certificate: Again, not heard of many applicants sending this certificate along with their
10 year ILR application.
On the other hand, I suppose, no harm really erring on the side of caution and sending additional info. in support of one's application (esp. in certain cases which may require sending additional info. in support of their application)....
