Big relief HO start sending approvals I think they are awake now. Congrats to all those who received their child certificates. I've applied on 15th April and still waiting I hope I receive in next few weeks finger crossed.

I applied on 30th March not sure if the application was old/new. Spoke to Home office yesterday and they told that it should be fine if I appled on 30th March and they even told that Biometric was not requied if the child is less thatn 2 years. Not sure why it was sent in your case. Anyway lets hope we get the certificate soon.

If it's any help (and it's probably not going to be) it took almost 3 months to acknowledge receipt of my 2 year old daughter's application. You can try emailing them and they will let you know whether it was received, which is what I had to do, but it can take up to 20 days for them to respond to that as well.

Hi i got a letter for my son MN1 Section 3(1) yesterday, but they have refused and said he is not settled in the UK, he need to get ILR first, currently he has visa of dependent tier 1 general till April 16,also they have included NR form with someone else ID case page attached ,for apply to reviewing the case and pay £80 for it. and i have not received mine and wife nationality approval letters up till now.
my son came in uk at the age of 5 months and now he is 8 years.parents have the settled visa and the future of the minor is in uk, if one of the parent is BC or applying for BC then they can apply under 3(1) according to this rule i had done and skip ILR to avoid the fee. I need your advice me please what should i have to do now. many thanks

Acknowledgement and Biomteric arrived in 2 different letters and on same day.

Daughter is 6.5 years old so they took her facial image and Fingerprints in Post office.

If child is 6 or less than only facial image.

2nd child still received nothing not even fees debited. We applied for him on 01/07/2015 NCS Macnhester.

No applied together for BC mine and son as it is in the guidence you can if one of them applying for BC, and next month had applied for wife BC.

No applied together for BC mine and son as it is in the guidence you can if one of them applying for BC, and next month had applied for wife BC.

According to the guidance notes:

"The parents’ nationality and immigration status – we expect either both parents
to be British citizens or one parent a British citizen and the other parent settled
in the UK." - did you satisfy this criteria? (I am not an expert in the rules but just checking what I know)

Hi

Time actually starts from the date you posted the application but HO being HO don't know what the hell they are doing. What checks they are waiting for as this is a law so they have to approve eventually. They have started responding quickly in terms of acknowledgement letters and biometric but still no approvals. I hope they are awake. Good luck please guys do post on the thread once you receive approvals.
