Guys I send my daughter's british citizenship application on 18th October 2013 (T-application) still no money taken from my credit card, no acknowledgement letter, how long it takes for this?

Comgrats on your Success but i dont understand why few people getting in 14 days after payment while for few it taking whole month of time just to check one or two pieces of documents...don't know whats happening...

Congrats surprisingly quick?...my MN1 section 1(3) still in wait fee was debited on 22nd October I Wonder why it still awaiting? does it depend on councils confirmation of Full birth ceritificate? or originl nationality?

I am not sure what happened myself. They took ages to deduct the money.. almost three weeks and then everything else happened within the next week. All in all I have recieved the approval within one month of applying and I did not use the National Checking Service. Let's see how long the wait for the registration certificate is now..

We are on the same boat. I too applied on October 21st by Royal Mail (did not use NCS) for registration as a BC for my 4 year old daughter and so far neither money has been debited nor acknowledgement letter been sent.

I have emailed the HO twice and they sent me a standard reply that they sent to everyone saying that it should take between 4 and 6 weeks, etc etc to get an acknowledgement letter.

Did you use the NCS?
