Hi,

Apart from Parents and Partner can you bring Brothers / Sisters ( Some immigration Solicitor ) told me thats its possible to bring Brothers /Sisters as well. Are they speaking the truth or misleading me to charge me extra fee. They are asking for 7000 pounds for it and will do it through Ireland. Not sure why they asking me for such huge fee when the process seems pretty straight forward to me.

Hi , I have a quick question .

My spouse is an El Salvador national , but has been an undocumented immigrant in USA for 5 years. He is coming to UK to visit me ( I am a natural UK citizen) and we are planning to go to Ireland to exercise my treaty rights . Does he need the join EEA spouse Visa for Ireland before he comes to UK or can he do it whilst visiting me in the UK?

Can he visit Ireland with me and get the stamp for 90 days at the immigration border? then upgrade to the EEA1 ?

Sorry to ask , but all this immigration can be confusing .

Many thanks

Be aware nothing is guaranteed. Treat such migration package deals with the caution they deserve.

Be aware of the considerable delays for entry visas into Eire now being reported by members (elsewhere in forum).

Hello!

Me and my wife are planning on going through this route.

My wife is from Russia but already lives in Finland for 3 years with her 3 year old son who was born here. She has a Schengen visa and Finnish residence card. I'm a British citizen.

I want to join them in Finland, register at their address so we are a family, open a bank account, library account and register as self-employed. Live here for 3-4 months and then apply for the EEA Family permit using the Surinder Singh route.

We are not married, only living as a couple. Do we need to get married?

Is there anything else I should know?

Thank you!!

Unmarried partners need to have lived in relationship akin to marriage for 2 years.
May be simpler to marry.
