My husband received his passport today, we had our interview on Tuesday. But not mine. Is that normal?

Mine took 4 Days , applied on Monday Got passport on Thursday and got Documents on Friday. so all in 5 working days.

Try call dx secure to find out if they have a delivery for you, most likely yours will be delivered tomorrow.

Hi. I applied for my 7 months baby's passport more than 2weeks ago but havnt got anything yet. I sent the application by special delivery . I phoned passport office today to check the status they said they need barcode number from the applucation form . But I didn't note that number. They said they can't check anything without that number . Plz can anyone advise me . I have sent my original documents with application . Plz help me if somebody has gone through the same experience before.

Good news!! We have received our passports yesterday.

Method of application: Post Office Check and send (Bad Experience, cannot recommend anyone to use this service)
Date application sent : 05-March-2014
Date of receipt of application by IPS : 07-March-2014
Date of receipt of SMS: My wife received text message on 07-March, but me & children didn't get any text. I called HMPO many time but they didn't had any information until 15-March they confirmed that they have our application under examination
Date of receipt of interview letter : 20-Mar-2014 dated 18-Mar-2014
Date of return of documents : 24-Mar-2014
Date of interview appointment : 24-Mar-2014 (Luckily I got the appointment on 24-March in Leicester office)
Date of receipt of Children Passports : 20-Mar-2014
Date of receipt of Adult Passports : 26-Mar-2014

Interview was very good and pleasant environment. Almost all of the questions were within the given list on this forum.

I am really thankful to all friends on this forum and other forums on the immigrationboards.com that helped me a lot in this process. It might be very difficult to achieve this goal without help and support of these forums.

I called the 0300 tel number and they confirmed that m application has been received but the Peterborough office is dealing with it. I was promised a telephone call back within 24hrs and today is the 4th day....still waiting impatiently.

Did you contact them again? Maybe your countersignatory has been contacted.

Also, why would you say Check and Send is not recommended?

They asked for my post code and name and then put me through to the "passport department". I explained that my husband received his yesterday and I just wanted to check if mine is on it's way too.

Hi everyone
I have a question regarding holding two nationalities, which will be thankful if someone helps me with it. I recently become a British citizen, so now I have two nationalities, one is Citizenship by birth and the other one is British citizen.
I am wondering to know if somewhere I have to tell my nationality. My nationality will be
Citizenship by birth + British
or
only Citizenship by birth
or
I can use which of them that I want and no need to mention both of them together.

I only wants to know how the things work when you have two nationalities.
