MN1 application query

Pleased to inform that I have received the ILR last week and would like to thank each and every member in this forum who have provided so much valuable information for one to apply for ILR by own instead of spending money in going through solicitor, off course provided your case is not completed though. I would say it is one stop forum where you have answer to most of your queries.

I am now looking to apply ILR for my dependants ( Spouse, Son ( Born in India)) and MN1 for my Daughter ( Born in UK) . All my family members are currently have Tier 2 (ICT) dependant visa. I have got couple of queries for my daughter MN1 application?

-I am planning to travel to India in the month of July so would like to know how much time MN1 application takes for my daughter who born in UK?

- What all documents are required to submit for MN1 application?

- After receiving MN1 what would be her visa status i.e. can she visit India and come back with MN1 status ? As I am not planning to apply for her UK Passport later i.e. until I get eligible ( April 2015) to apply citizenship. This is to avoid apply for Indian visa or OCI for her only.

there is no "mn1 status"
she becomes a british citizen and needs to then travel on british passport
it doesnt take very long to get a passport for a minor child, you'd do better just getting it before travel
conceivably once registered as a citizen you can try applying for her passport at a british high comission in india, but you ill have a much harder time
none of this has anything to do with you becoming a citizen, is she is UK-born she becomes a citizen once you get ilr

Thanks Sagareva for your response. Actually we would like visit India on Holiday for few weeks so I would like to avoid apply for Indian Visa only for my daughter. As i understand once she gets British Passport then i need to apply an Indian Visa for her to visit India along with us.

I am planning to file MN1 application post India holiday visit. Hope that doesn't make any issue during immigration as she will be on Tier 2 dependant visa while returing from India. Please advise?

My plan is to apply for OCI togather once i get British passport due next year in April/May 2015.
