What I have seen around, it can take up to 14 working days, also NCS advised me to call my bank for big amount to go out as they have seen rejections due to that. I am paying by Debit Card so no issue was there as you see in my post above yours, so if you selected Credit card perhaps call your Card issuer and tell not to block any payments?ginger.garlic wrote:I had applied on 29th October through NCS, Its been 3 weeks now (timeline below) but haven't heard anything, no acknowledgment and no fees deducted.
Is it time to call them? What option do I need to select while calling?

I had mine received on the 28th (I posted in the November thread instead of here) and I still haven't had money taken out!zzeng0502 wrote:Eligibility criteria: Spouse 2 years + 10 years in the UK

All other posts have a receipt date earlier or even later than 27th have money taken, I am worried now.
Why they haven't processed any payment?
It's a small plastic card (the size of a credit card), and has your immigration status and photo (for most of us, it's our proof of ILR). They used to record the information in passports, but stopped a few years ago. Is this what you mean?irric wrote:Eligibility criteria: 5 Year RC + 12 PR

That is strange that Barclaycard couldn't deal with your enquiry because it is quite common for credit card companies to block big payments to avoid fraud. I called mbna after sending my application and customer service transferred me to their fraud prevention team. I explained the situation to which the adviser said she will put a note on the system for a month that if home office applies for £906 please authorise it as i notified them in advance with precise information of the amount.YankeeKiki wrote:Eligibility criteria: 10 years residence + 1 year ILR

It's been 3 weeks since they received it (according to the Post Office tracking ref) and payment still hasn't been deducted, so I'm starting to get nervous! Barclaycard said about 10 days ago that they hadn't blocked any payment, but didn't deal with the part of my inquiry that asked them to make sure they didn't do so in future so I'm not sure whether I need to check with them again.
