Anyone got EC from India without birth certficate?

Anyone got EC from India without birth certficate?

I have heard some cases where VFS office do not accept driving license for DOB proof. I do not have birth certificate. I submitted only driving license for my DOB proof. EC guidelines say that we need to submit all documents that we submitted for HSMP approval for EC also. Has any one got EC from India without submitting birth certifcate.

Hi,
I have applied last month for EC and I was sucessful getting it without BC, they accepted my Driving Licensce...
