ILR on old passport - sponsoring family visa for mother

Hi,
I am posting this on behalf of my friend.
She has been living in UK for the past 20 years and has her ILR stamped in her old passport in 1999.(given leave to enter the UK for an indefinite period)
She did not transfer this to her new passport and she has been travelling with 2 passports.

Now she wants to sponsor her mother to UK and applied for general visitor visa.
Will this be a problem. ?.
Any thoughts / suggestions are welcome.
