Hi, when my employer was assigning me a CoS for my Tier 2 general extension and in the end it says 'Please note, An unassigned CoS for this migrant may already exist. This will not prevent you from assigning this CoS.' Does anyone know why this would happen?
I did try to get a job with different employer who said they will sponsor my visa but I haven't heard from them for two weeks now and my visa expires on 1 Oct 2014.

I have the same issue today. My Sponsor put all the details and this came up - Please note, an unassigned CoS for this migrant may already exist. This will not prevent you from assigning this CoS. - Manci can you please confirm what to do next?It doesnt let to assign,

Thank you, i will pass the phone to them on Monday. It's just that i wanted to get CoS number today to apply for visa asap as my leave finishes in 10 days that is why i posted here as my sponsor was in meetings all day and asked me to research the answer, but i do understand that it is their responsbility. Thank you for your advice!
