Spouse visa reset clock to zero ?

Hello everyone ,

Please I need some clarification on this .

Someone just told me that once you switch to a spouse visa , it restarts your immigration history clock to zero .

So I’m planning to apply for ILR on the basis of long term , I had a combination of student visa and spouse visa .

Does it mean switching over to spouse implies that my time spent as a student won’t be counted towards ILR ? .

How true is the information about spouse visa resetting your clock to zero .

I can’t find where it states on the Ukvi website, they said ILR on bases of LR can be On any visa or combination of different visas .

Please shed more light on this issue . Was anyone able to combine student and spouse visa without any problem ?
