Duplicate FPS Signed by the Applicant??

Post by TEEM » Wed Jan 15, 2020 3:25 pm

I am preparing my ILR application based on a 3 year accelerated application after investing in a business. I am wondering if anybody could offer some advice with the following as I couldn't find answers anywhere else:

The online application form requests me to submit the following:

a. Real Time Full Payment Submissions

b. A duplicate HMRC Full Payment Submission for the year before the jobs were created and the year that the jobs were created and signed by the applicant

My questions are as follows:

i) What does duplicate refer to here?

ii) What do they mean by signed by the applicant, I need to sign and date every page?

Any help or clarification on this would be greatly appreciated!

i) What does duplicate refer to here?
Ignore the term duplicate. All the FPS data is digital so there is no duplicate. Here it means a copy
ii) What do they mean by signed by the applicant, I need to sign and date every page?
Yes it has to be signed by you. The FPS data before you joining the business must show that there was a NET INCREASE of at least two full time positions in that company after you joined. So if when you joined there were 4 positions, you must show the company maintained at least 6 positions for 12 months AFTER you joined

P.S. I assumed you are going for the accelerated route on the basis of generating £5m extra turnover after you joined. Otherwise the NET INCREASE in full time positions above must be 10 positions AFTER you joined :!:

Hey Zimba, thanks for such a quick reply. Yes, I am applying for the net increase of 10 positions after I joined. Signing the documents seems very strange? Signing each page to show it is genuine? Why not do this for all other documents we submit? Why specifically the FPS. Of course, I will sign it, just trying to understand the justification.

It's been a requirement for a long time. Sign them as correct
