Updating UKBA - on change in salary

Post by TMA » Wed Jan 15, 2020 9:19 pm

Hi there,

I am on tier 2 General Visa and I am looking to apply for my Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), as I am eligible in the next few weeks.

Since I started working, I have had a salary change in my current job. This is to match the salary in the SOC code. I have then got HR to update my salary details on the Government portal by following the instructions on the below link.
https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... tivity.pdf

Can you confirm
1. If this is the right and only process to update the UKBA about the change in salary
2. Is there anything else in addition to this that needs to be done for the details to be updated to the UKBA by the employer or myself

Thank you in advance.

UKBA was disbanded in 2013, it has been UKVI since then. :!:
If salary changes are reported via SMS, you should be fine. This is assuming your duties/job has not changed

Thank you for confirming this, yes the role hasn't changed at all. It's just to match the salary requirements for application of ILR
