ILR on Tier 2 with 2 companies

Hi There,

I am on the Tier 2 sponsorship visa and have been for 4 years. If I changed company (to another on the approved sponsor list), does my 5 year period still count? (so a 4+1 with 2 employers)

Or does that situation somehow alter the usual 5 year continuous period?

Changing employers doesn't reset anything in the Tier 2 route.
