Did you meet the knowledge of English requirement

Post by jaclerm » Tue Mar 03, 2020 10:47 pm

Hi Zimba,

“Did you meet the knowledge of English requirement as part of an indefinite leave application made on or after 28 October 2013?”

I'm on a spousal visa, that will expire mid April (done my 5 years), so I'm doing my ILR application now. Did my English test and my Life in the UK test 2 weeks ago, and passed.

On the online form I noted my reference number for the Life in the UK test.

Now, this section then asks the question mentioned above...

According to how I read, I should answer NO

Reasoning: This is my first application for ILR every, yes I have the B1, but I have never previously used it for any application.

Is this the correct logic?

I will be uploading it as part of my supporting documents, but will be answering NO.
