How detailed do you need to be about holidays - Tier 2 ILR

Post by GTBS8 » Wed Jun 17, 2020 6:58 am

I passed the 5 year mark with my Tier 2 Visa in March of this year. I'm submitting my application now.

Do I need to document every time I've left the country for the last 5 years and provide evidence for each?
Even weekend city breaks and short holidays? Or is there a point at which a holiday becomes an 'absence'
I'm sure I fall well below the 180day mark.

Thanks for any guidance anyone can provide on this.

You are required to list every absence from the UK.

Absence days count towards 180 days are whole days out of the UK but you need to list all travel departure and arrival dates in the form.

You don't need evidence if each trip. As a tier 2 visa holder, you need an absence letter from your sponsor or sponsors if you have had more than one employer.
