Less than 180 days outside UK is the criteria for ILR, right ?

Post by jainp » Tue Jul 27, 2021 3:17 pm

Hi,

I will be completing my 5 years this December and will be eligible for ILR. However due to unforeseen circumstances, I need to go to India for couple of months where I will work as well as take annual leaves. I also worked from India in February this year.

As per guidelines, I am still eligible for ILR because I am not planning to spend more than 180 days. It's around 90 days in a 12-month period. I am wondering if there is any catch which I am not aware of ?

Regards
PJ
