ILR Priority application - No response yet

Hi Everyone,

I am not sure if I can post this question under ILR timelines thread hence posting in here:

I have applied for ILR Set (0) - priority (5 day)

Submitted Biometrics on 20th July but I have not received any response yet on the application from Home Office

I have the following questions:

1. Is it usual for Home Office not to respond within 5 day working day time frame. As per my checks in ILR timeline thread, that did not happen yet !
2. Anyone with similar experience as mine ?
3. What is the best time (or days) to wait before calling Home Office for an update

Hi Zimba,

Thanks for the link but it specifies delays for complex application etc

But mine is straight forward hence am a bit nervous as I am now to able to understand why the delay ?

Is it possible to call home office, provide application number and ask for a status ? Will that work to expedite ?

It is not up to you to determine if your application is straightforward or not. That is up to UKVI. Every application is decided in its own timeframe and ILR can take up to 6 months or more. You will not get any updates from UKVI or the home office and they do not expedite applications. Wait to hear back
