Which Visa Stamp would a GP in Ireland apply for?

Post by Beamsley » Wed Dec 20, 2023 1:24 pm

My wife is from India and working as a GP in Ireland on a Critical Skills Work Permit. She was given an initial 6 month visa to allow her to travel back and forth whilst sorting everything out. Until she qualifies, after around the 2 year mark, for a Stamp 4 Visa - what Visa should she be applying for now to take her up to that time?

I'm assuming it is Stamp 1 but I cannot see a specific stamp for a Critical Skills person. 1H is for those not on a Critical Skills Work Permit.

Any guidance would be great.

CSEP holders have Stamp 1 until they get their 2 years, same as GEP holders - no specific stamp for them.
