Hi everyone
I just want to share some good news
I applied for 4th extension end of February
Applied online 26/2/25
Biometrics done on the 28/2/25
Granted on 6/5/25
I applied using priority processing in the past 3 applications but I couldn't afford it this time so I applied using standard applications. On the website it says it can take up to 12 months so I wasn't expecting much. I was happy to get the email today, since everything is online now there will be no brp card etc, the letter is very detailed and straightforward.
I wish everyone still waiting all the best, I just thank God for this.

Good Morning Everyone

UkVI send Following email to me regarding my FLr FP visa application after Escalation.

Your application of 15 November 2024 has already been accepted for expediting and has been assigned to a caseworker for urgent consideration.

Unfortunately, the application cannot be progressed currently due to a technical fault on the caseworking system. This has been referred to the relevant support team as urgent. As soon as the technical fault is resolved, the consideration will be completed and a decision despatched.

When should I expect the decision on my visa application?

Thank you

I did my flr fp 2nd extension with fee waiver. I claiming public fund universal credit, PIP ect. As I applied for fee waiver first so I gave the home office reference no after I applied fee waiver. Same ref no I gave to PIP department as my PIP is expiring this July. Now when PIP department check with this ref they didn't find anything that I applied home office for extension. I called several times the PIP authority that I applied in home office online and got thus ref number. And Immigration act 1971 section 3C clearly mentioned that I can claim all my existing benefits until my new application sorted. But they said every time I called that with this ref no they didn't find anything.

I have severe disability with I had brain surgery with tumour. Before I was taken radiotherapy and chemotherapy. My wife is my carer and with 2 British kids. My question is how I prove DWP with this ref no that my benifit should be all remaining until I got a decision from home office?

Please advise me

Hi Atifa, in my case it wasnt a problem when i provided them with my Flfr fp UAN application number, and i had letter of confirmation from my local mp which he advised if any authority had a problem they could contact him as reference. i would suggest getting in contact with the home office advice number , contact local mp about this as the mp can confirm with the home office and write you a letter confirming the application which you can provide to DWP, also complain line to ukvi because by law as you have said any application made in time then Section 3c automatically applies which means previous visa status still remains and get advice from a solictor also.

As a very important or maybe the most improtant goverment department they do sure make alot of mistakes, I know we are all humans and make mistakes but home office take it to a whole new level lol

Been waiting more than a year now for FLR (FP) . Ridiculous how they making us wait however with money it’s different. I guess money really does talk .

Applications submitted : 17/03/2024
Biometrics done on : 11/04/2024
Complaint made on : 16/04/2025
Got a reply on : 30/04/2025

“I am unable to uphold your complaint.

Whilst I can appreciate the frustration in waiting on a decision being made, it may help if I explain that that applications under the (FLR)FP route are not currently subject to a service standard.

However, I can confirm that, in view of the exceptional circumstances raised in your correspondence, we have prioritised (name) application and aim to make a decision as soon as possible.

Blah blah blah blah ……….

Please note that we will endeavour to progress (name) application as a priority, and you will be contacted as soon as possible. In order for us to treat the application urgently, (name) will need to register his biometrics without delay if he hasn’t already done so.”

Now still waiting and wonder how many more decade it will take.

Feel sorry for you coz only people who suffering would understand how painful is that. Agreed with you & exactly my point. They have got all the information they needed what else they could have asked for? Just disgusting behaviour. How can it take them to do same application within 2 days but it take them more than years for others ! My last extension was given after 7 months I think so I was expecting it would be about same however they took already more than a year. I can see some lucky people who applied after me got their results but me still stuck. Although they said they gonna process my application as a priority now, I still don’t know how long that “PRIORITY” service would take.

i agree, like you said in your previous post, money do talk, they can make a decision within days which shows they can make a decision quickly if they wanted to, i think all applications after 6 months should be moved to priority, they would clear a hell of alot of their backlogs and that would allow them to manage newer applications more efficently. but i think even non priority who gets decisions in a few months shows the level of competency between caseworkers. anyhow good luck on getting decision soon. Soon as i get my decision thank you very much im going on a 3 months holiday abroad just to relax from all the stress they given me lol

Soon as i get my decision thank you very much im going on a 3 months holiday abroad just to relax from all the stress they given me lol
lol Good luck. I really wish and pray you get it soon and all of us too. I’m having same thoughts about holiday too. To be honest i don’t how am I gonna react coz i feel like it will come at the moment when we will expect least.
i really do wish we all get our decisions soon. i understand if its a third world country as applications over there takes decades but uk is first world , they should have there sh!TT! together. and i agree decision probably gonna come at a unepxected time, my reaction i dunno man , probably like a disaster film scene everyone screaming, panicking , im just gonna continue do my shopping walking calm coz the home office sucked so much life out of me i couldnt care less lol
FINALLY after more than a year got my good news. I pray all of you get soon and others too. Untill next time however I will pay for priority next because I had my lesson 😂

i been waiting more than a year, they say flr dont hve no service time so how about all the ones that applies after me and get a decision wihin a few months, they got all my information since i applied 3 times already successfully and this is my last extension before ILR, so i dont know whats the hold up.
