can you pls answer these questions regarding tier 1 general extension
1) do the payslips need to be sealed and stamped by employer? The payslip has employer name but not the logo. will it be acepted?
2) Do the bank statements be sealed and stamped?
I dont know if anybody does stamping on the payslips or any other document in uk. I am thinking it is only in india. Your help on this is appreciated.

can the advisers on this forum advice on this issue please
There is no such rule on 'how early' one can apply. I can say 3 to 4 months earliest, based on timelines provided by so many users on this forum. You will have to use search facility to find and read those post.feigoronin wrote:Hi,
I have my Tier 1 General visa(for 3 years) obtained in May 2008 and it expires in May 2011. Can someone advice how much in advance I can apply for my extension? I have heard that this can be done up to 6 months in advance. Can some one please provide the correct info on this?
Thanks,
