Cap Limit Status

Post by nkrdwh » Sat Aug 21, 2010 8:00 pm

Hello Guys,

I am planning to apply for Tier-1 VISA from INDIA in the first week of September. I understand from one of the Immigration consultant that the cap limit has crossed for August month and the excess applications will be processed from September. Also I understand from them that if I apply Tier-1 on September first week my application will only be considered in October because of the excess applications.

I did Google to find out the status of the cap limit for this month but I am not successful. Can anybody let me know where to find out the cap limit for a month of August has reached or not?

I also looked in to the below UKBA link as it says that cap limit will be published in visa services website but I could not get any info there.

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/worki ... hly-limit/

Thanks in advance.
NK

If it isn't published where UKBA said it would publish it, means the information is not publicly available yet.

If I were you, I would worry more about approval of my application, rather than whether the cap has been reached for a given month or not!

I am not worried for the approval of the application as I have got all the necessary documents needed for TIER-1 and also I am getting 110 points when I verified from the PBC i.e.

Age: 20 (29 Years)

Degree: 35 (PG from ANNA University)

Earnings: 35 (9.25 Lacs INR)

English: 10 (Degree in PBS and IELTS with Band 7)

Maintenance Funds: 10 (Around 4 Lacs in my savings account)

Please share your thoughts regarding the status of the cap limit?

Thanks

Hi,

ur qualifying points are similar to myne, So just wanted to give u heads up in what’s more imp. Keep an Eye on Docs you send, like bank statement on BANK STATIONARY only. cos people like us who has everything in order, I mean Previous earning and Academic Qualification, are usually confident, and sometimes in over confidence over look small details in making the file and get rejected cos of small errors.
Cap will not affect much buddy may be it will take 10 odd days more than usual for visa to come however more imp is the docs which are proof of points we claim for entry in UK.

What thoughts? If someone suggests to you that the monthly limit has been oversubscribed by 500%, will you not apply?
How will I know if the monthly limit is reached?
If the limit is reached for a particular month, we will publish the information as a news story on this website.
Did you find a news story on the subject on the UKBA website?

I am pretty much sure that I am not going to apply when UKBA publish the limit has been oversubscribed by 500%. Please don't ask for the reasons :)
Did you find a news story on the subject on the UKBA website?
I did not find any story line and also the cap limit on UKBA site. I have mentioned the same in my first post and asking for your help on the cap limit. Not sure why you asked me the same question again? 8)

Because you appear to not understand what the following simple statements essentially mean!
How will I know if the monthly limit is reached?
If the limit is reached for a particular month, we will publish the information as a news story on this website.

The only help you are asking for here is that people speculate for you on the subject! And that won't help you in anyway!
