ILR APPLICATION + CHILD BENEFITS + PLS ADVICE

Hello,

I am going to apply for my ILR under WP category 5 years with the same employer.
An OSIC advisor confused me. Can someone clarify this please.
My wife and son got ILR last year and then she applied for child benefits and child tax credit based on her ILR.
But in the application(child benefit & tax credit ) they also asked my details such as NI number as we can only make joint claim.,,, so the child benefit (40 pounds ) and taxcredit 80 pounds goes into her account monthly.
The issue I have there is a section in the ILR(set O) application where the applicant needs to declare what benefits they claimed….
The osic advisor is saying that I should not have claimed that benefits ….but I didn’t claim ..it was my wife did ..but that application needs my details as well…

Confused now ….please advise guys
