ILR - Flr( m ) form

Post by PK » Sat Mar 26, 2011 2:10 pm

Hi All

First many thanks for all your support, I got my ILR on 10 Years long residence this week.

I've got a few questions about my Wife and Kids and would really appritiate your help..

My wife came to the U.K as my dependant in 2002, and since then has been on a dependant visa all these years. I have a 8 year old girl and 18 month boy. My daughter and my wife have a dependant visa until end of April, but my son does not have a passport. Having got the ILR myself,

1.) Can both my kids apply for British Citizenship straightaway?
2.) Can my wife apply for ILR now, if not what form does she need and what documents does she need to provide ?

I will be very greatful if you could help me with my queries

Your help is greatly valued

Many thanks
PK

1. Yes, if the children were born in the UK. No, if they were born outside UK.
2. What is your spouse's current immigration status (i.e.- dependant of ...?) and when does the current leave expire? Does she plan to travel outside the UK before expiry of her current leave?
Life isn't fair, but you can be!
