|
|
I am having indefinite leave to remain in the UK and I want to stump it in my passport.
The question is.
Are there any checking service authorities available for this so I can check my documents with them and send the application by Post?
I will be glad if someone helps me understand this. |

Your question is not clear. You say you already have ILR? What is the application you want to make now? You need to clearly state this before any information can be provided. _________________ Info/Advice I provide is general in nature and shouldn't be used as a substitute for professional advice where necessary.

Thanks for your reply.
I have ILR but need to stump it in my Afghan Passport which costs me £220 If I apply by post.
I was asking is there any checking office for this service so I can have my documents checked there before I send it by post?
I hope you got my question clear now |

As far as I'm aware, ILR is no longer stamped on passports. It's reflected in the applicants Biometric Residence Permit (BRP). BRP's weren't issued for ILR applications made in the past, but have been required for all new applications made since late last year (I'm not aware of the exact date). When was your ILR granted? _________________ Info/Advice I provide is general in nature and shouldn't be used as a substitute for professional advice where necessary.

Thanks alot for your reply...
I called home office early this year and they told me to fill the NTL form and return it with your passport.
if they stopped stumping visas in the passport then how would I travel without having visa stumped in my passport? |

Coming to your original question, I'm afraid I don't know the answer. I.e. as to whether there is a checking service for this. Is the reason you want to use a checking service, to avoid sending your passport to the UKBA while the transfer is being processed by them? _________________ Info/Advice I provide is general in nature and shouldn't be used as a substitute for professional advice where necessary.
