Hello everyone,
I am an A2 national, resident in the UK since 2006 and I would like to apply for the permanent residence but I need some help.
I've came in UK in June 2006 as an Au Pair and at the end of July 2007 I got my Registration Certificat (Blue Card) which gave me right to work. Starting with 20 September I started my current job (I've stayed another month with the family as they couldn't find a replacement and also I took me 2 weeks to find a job).
I would like to apply for the Permanent residence but not sure if I can apply now (considering that I have my Blue Card since July 2007) or if I need to wait 2 more months to appy because that was when I started my current job.
I have a letter from the family that I used to work as an Au Pair, letter that says that I worked for them until the begining of September.
I have all five P60 but I only started paying NI and other contributions starting with 20 September.
Any advice is much appreciated. |

Hello again,
No one replied to this .
Perhaps my question was too complicated.
My worries are that if I will apply for Permanent residence, I can't justify (with payslips) what I've done from July 2007 to September 2007. As I said above, I was an aupair for another month (I have a letter from that family saying that I've helped them out until September) and then I've searched for a job.
Can I add a covering letter explaning my situation?
Any advice will be appreciated. |

As PR for EEA nationals doesn't really matter, I would just wait a few weeks and then apply with the evidence from September. Makes your application simpler.
Unless there is a particular reason you want to apply now and not wait. |
