|
|
Hi,
Me, my wife and my daughter who was born in uk have ILR now.
My son was born in india and is still under 1o years of age.
My son had dependant visa which has now expired. I had not applied for his ILR as he was in india. He has been to uk couple of times. He has not come to uk for last 4 or more years even though he had a visa.
I am the person responsible for him. My parents take care of him in india and when I go I give them some money for my son for a period of year or so. I give them cash and therefore I do not have any proof of me providing money. You know how the indian family operates. They do need the proofs.
Now I want my son to come here. What should I do ?
Can I apply for his ILR from india.
There is some new rule which talks about the income of the parents for sponsoring the dependants 18000 and some more for child, in total some odd 25000.
I read the Statement of Intent and it says the financial rule does not apply for the child of settled person.
Please guide how to bring my son here.
Regards, |

Thankyou for your reply
So it means finance and related documents like bank statement, pay slips are not required ??? Sound a bit surprising.....
Please help. |

Please let me know what documents are required for my son's visa from India.
It seems that I do not have to provide financial documents like payslip, bank statement.
To me it is too good to be true.
Please guide......
Thanks in advance |

First of all let me thank you once again for your reply.
I am rather worried as it is the issue for my son who is 09 years old now.
He had a visa which was dependant visa on my work permit which now has expired.
I with my wife and daughter who was bor here have the Indefinite Leave to Remain.
We want my son to come here as soon as possible to join us.
As per the link you have sent I understand that I do not have to fulfill the financial requirements, however I have to have proper accomodation.
I live in a flat which is seperate in one big house. The garden is exclusvely mine.
I do no share any part of the complete house as I have seperate entry.
It is one bedroom property.
It has one bedroom, one living room and the Spam is attached.
Now the questions.
1. Do I need to provide any documents for accomodation ?
2. Do I have to attach the bank statements / pay slips etc ?
3. I think I have to fill Appendix I of VAF4A. Am I right ?
Please advice and help.
Thanks |

In addition to my previous question, I would also like to say that although my son had a valid visa he never visited UK for last 4 to 5 years.
does that affect his new application |
