Hi,
I am in the process of applying for my daughters BC registration and i have filled up form MN1. but i have a query regarding the documents to be sent with the application.
I have been through the citizenship FAQ sticky http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=95747 and it says
- Full UK birth certificate for the child (with the ILR parent named on it).
- Child passport (if has one).
- Parent's passport showing ILR.
- Marriage certificate (if child born before 2006)

while other documents can be sent but the 3rd document mentioned here as :"Parents passport showing ILR" doesn't apply anymore cause everyone is getting Biometric Residence card and passport don't have any stamp for ILR. so my query here is do i need to send my Biometric card as an evidence with MN1 form or only giving the RCXXXXXX reference on the first page of the MN1 form will suffice.

Please let me know as this has stalled her application since long.

Also whatever answer should be if somebody can please edit this sticky with the right answer that would help other fellow member.

thanks

Could somebody answer my query please.
Its really difficult question at this moment cause the MN1 guide ask to send 3 documents...
- Full UK birth certificate for the child (with the ILR parent named on it).
- Child passport (if has one).
- Marriage certificate (if child born before 2006)

but the FAQ links guides us to send additional document as - Parent's passport showing ILR which seems to be fair point but it would be very helpful if this can be clarified in line with the Biomentric Residence Permit card.

Thanks

I take it that the biometrics residence permit card already contains all information about you and your immigration status; hence, this is what you should be submitting in lieu of the passport with ILR stamp. If you're applying through NCS, they will just photocopy all your documents and return the original to you. If still in doubt, you may call ukba anytime to confirm. Hope this helps :)
