im earning £9000 at the moment, thus i shoud have saving of £40,000
(£18600-£9000(x2.5)+£1600)
but i have saving of around £20,000
my cousin offered with out me asking to lead my £20,000 for the 6 months
is thaat ok and would they ask and would i have to prove that its mine,
it will be in my account for 6 months as they want so would that be fine
would i come a cross any problems |

As long as you have savings in your account for the past 6 months prior to your application, you should be fine.
Ofcourse when the time comes for VISA renewal for the 2.5 remaining years, you would need to meet the income requirements again. _________________ 08/02/2012 - Application submitted to VFS New Delhi

but how can you prove that ?
and say if i send the money back once my partner arrives in the uk |

You need to declare the funds are yours and under your control, if the funds are not yours and just being loaned to you to circumvent the rules then you'll be practicing deception in order to get the visa which if found out will result in the refusal of the application. A gift of cash savings needs to be declared. See

i would imagine that they might question how a person with a low income of £9000 manages to have savings of £40k |
