Since my spouse work in a part-time job, she cannot sponsor me as her income is way below the minimum 18k per year and therefore I have to demonstrate savings of around 50k.

If someone deposit the necessary funds that I need to make up for the shortfall in my spouse's income to my account in one go 6 months before my application, will that be accepted? Or do I have to show that the funds were amassed over a period of time from my own source of income?
