Hi guys,

So im a Nigerian with leave to remain in the u.k and ive been invited for a job interview in Netherlands. Should i apply for business or tourist visa? the company in question has sent me a letter, which is in the post right now, that i need to give to the consulate to confirm that im attending the interview and are also paying my expenses.

Also with the visa documents requirements it says that i need a letter from an employer or a letter from school stating why i'm going to the Netherlands? well i'm unemployed and not in school anymore what do i do about this?

Thanks guys much appreciated

I suppose you will be applying for a Schengen type C visa. There is no further distinction in visa types. You only tick a box according to the purpose. There should be an 'Other' box as well which you could use.

Job or education related documents are requested because they will be used in determining the likelihood that the applicant will leave the Schengen area again. If you don't have any further supporting evidence you obviously can't provide more.

Have you tried to contact the embassy or one of the numerous consulates for further advice?
