Hi

I am doing my ILR application in November and I am so confused as to how to get the calculation print out for earnings. It says 12 out of 15 months??? If anyone has done an ILR application and can help, please let me know.

I was on HSMP (2 years) and then Tier 1 General (3 years). If you have any templates or examples, please let me know. Also is it very difficult to get an appointment for Nov 2012?

Thank you so much

This rule on what earnings you can use towards your PBS score is not something specific to ILR applications. If you read the guidance for Tier 1 extensions (which I presume you would have as you have already applied for a Tier 1 extension previously) you will find the same stated there, so I'm slightly surprised that you have only just seen it now.

What it basically means is that you can claim points for earnings made during any 12 consecutive month period from the 15 months immediately before your ILR application. I.e. in your case if applying in November use the date you intend to apply and count 15 months backwards & choose earnings from any 12 consecutive months within those 15 months.

The SET(O) form and associated guidance are what you need to read and understand.

I have answered the specific question you raised regarding previous earnings, but do read the SET(O) guidance in detail to make sure you understand everything else required.

Regarding obtaining a PEO appointment, getting one is challenging but can be done. Appointments are released upto 42 days in advance, and if you search this forum you will find other applicant experiences on what time (midnight) to login and search for appointments & the general challenges faced.

in simple words, if you want to apply on 1st november 2012,

you can claim points for

august 2011 - august 2012
september 2011 - september 2012
october 2011 - october 2012

the popular option will be october 2011 - october 2012.

All these combinations amount to 13 months!!

yes thats correct,

correct that to

august 2011 - july 2012 inclusive
september 2011 - august 2012 inclusive
october 2011 - september 2012 inclusive

something along that line,

just get the latest 12 months statements and salaries and that would cover you if you are still working!
