My Wife is a Italy Citizen, She has never used the passport to travel to Italy, or any EU country because she died a few years ago from breast cancer. I want to move it Italy for a job, can I still process the request for permanet residency and work permit as a spouce of a Italian Citizen , since she is no longer alive.

Please advise, I don't want to lose the job if I don't have to.

I doubt many people here understand the intricacies of Italian immigration law. Maybe you can get help from the following forum.
