|
|
Hi there,
My wife (who is going to sponsor me) earns far less than the 18500 threshold. I understand that I need to have a shortfall of 50k to cover the difference.
My question is should this difference be in my bank account or her bank account? I have the funds in my account now , is that Ok?
Thanks |

As long as the funds are available in a bank account which can be withdrawn immediately if needed in the UK, it should be acceptable. You need to make sure that the bank your fund is deposited is a recignised UK entity and has branches in the UK atleast.
You will need to show at least 6 months bank statements showing that the funds have been there for some time and they are true savings.
Hope this helps. _________________ 08/02/2012 - Application submitted to VFS New Delhi
