Is anyone able to list the supporting document a normal Tier 1 Application should contain? I realize it would be specific to the application however, in terms of fulfilling the requirements to claim points a generic list as a guidance would be highly appreciated. Thanks. Also can one apply with one week of statement maintaining and showing closing balance of 50K in an account in the UK... Should that be accompanied with a letter if money is being shown in UK. Kindly guide on this. Much appreciated, thanks.

There is already a thread with the list of support docs...

There is no minimum time period for maintaining 50k balance so one week is fine. You can provide bank statements as long as they are stamped/original. Personally, just to be on the safe side, I provided stamped statements and a letter from the bank confirming the funds available in my account. |

Was your bank in the UK? Which one is it as my HSBC bank refuse to stamp. I might consider switching to a bank more willing to help customer if the bank is good. |

NatWest. You have to really push them to give you a letter and stamp statements. Otherwise just order paper statements and that will do the jobs as well. |
