|
|
Hi all
I am due to apply for my ILR. Everything is ready ie. passports (old + new), biometric residence permit card and life in the UK test result.
I have a question regarding my absence. I tried to remember the date I was out from UK in 2006 and can't remember it. I have a stamp on my passport which shown I was back to UK but there is no stamp when I went out from UK. I tried to look at the pictures and emails but no luck.
Can I just leave it blank in the form or should I just guess the date? Is this going to affect my application?
Thank you. |

Doesn't the passport have "arrival stamps" of the destination(s)? That should help you guess the exit dates (from UK). _________________ Life isn't fair, but you can be! |

Some of them yes. But this one no stamp. This was when I visited europe and out from UK at Dover. |

I had some problem when i travelled to Paris from London by Bus... atleast you have Stmap coming into UK but i did not have on either side.
Trust me they wont be bothered to check it.. I just put a random date by looking at my Chengen Visa ....
So lets say you came back to UK 01.01.2012 and if you remember that you went for 7 days trip then count 7 days backward and put a date. But trick is that date should fall within your chengen visa issued date.
You wont have any problem! |

Thank you for your reply. But I don't use Schengen visa. My passport allows me to travel to any european country without visa.
Have you got your ILR already? I just want to be sure. |

Iam in same problem, due to apply ilr jan 2013, in one occasion i traveled to germany on schengen visa on 7 days trip, but there is no exit/entry stamp (calais to dover entry), i checked my emails, banks statements, old tickets but no chance of getting any help from those.
I am thinking to put any date from visa approval date to 7 days. Is that ok ? |
