Hi all,
I am an international student currently on a tier 4 student visa, studying for a taught masters. I have passed all modules and currently writing my dissertation. I will be making a final dissertation submission in FEBRUARY 2013. However, the paper will not be marked until JUNE 2013, which is when the assessment board will sit on the result.

The issue now is that I have gotten a graduate job offer to start in MARCH 2013. I would have submitted my dissertation by then but would neither gotten the result for it yet nor would I have gotten my msc certificate by then.

Can I apply for a tier 2 visa after I have submitted my dissertation? Can I also make this application with a letter from my department confirming that I have submitted my msc dissertation?

You'll need at least the official transcript with your dissertation marks too which says you have passed your course
