Can someone please suggest how difficult is it to find sponsorship and apply for tier-2 general visa if someone is on tier-2 ICT?

IF YOUR TIER 2 ICT WAS ISSUED BEFORE APRIL 2011, THEN YOU ARE IN LUCK. Just circulate your CV, find a job, and you can switch. Remember, its a full time job to get a job
If you applied for you Tier 2 ICT visa on or after April 2011, you can not switch in country and will usually be subject to a 12 month cooling off period. However, there may be ways to keep you here if you have high level skills for which there is good UK demand.

| Perhaps it's easier if you have a skill set that is not readily available in the resident labour pool. Perhaps it's more difficult if you don't. If you were to say what you do and where you life, I suspect you might have a better chance of getting a more meaningful response to your question. |

| I am working as Business Analyst in Telecom domain and on Tier2 ICT through an Indian employer. Seeking to change a job and get a sponsorship from new employer? How easy it would be? Are there any job agencies or agents who could help with this? |

From my exp, getting a visa(switching etc) is easier than getting a contract, as no recruitment agency handles tier2 visa holders for contracts.
You cant do permanent because u r a perm employee of the company which sponsored the visa. |

Hi
UK-2010 Please circulate your CV via workpermit.com and to interested recruiters, you have a good chance of your ICT visa is from before April 2011
DPL. Its down to
a) When did you first get your ICT visa
b) Are your skills in demand
SSKON. Some recruiters will consider staff needing sponsorship for fixed term contracts. Others work with consultancies who can sponsor if there are no suitable local applicants. Dont give up
Good luck
