Hi,
I am currently in UK on Tier 2 ICT visa.
I have recently changed my last name on my indian passport 85 days ago from today. How ever I have not informed UKBA about that to change the name on BRP till now.
I have also resigned from my company and travelling back to India. I would be applying the Tier 1 Dependant Visa from India next month.

1 Since I did not update the BRP within 90 days. Would It be a problem with Tier 1 Dependant Visa Application?

2. Even If I want to tell UKBA now, I can not submit my BRP and passports, as I would require BRP and Passports to travel to India (Travelling this middle of next week).

3. Do You recon that by the time I apply for the Tier 1 Dependent Visa, My employer would have any ways notified UKBA for Visa/COS/BRP Cancellation, So it won't matter whether the cancelled BRP has name updated or not.

Please suggest what can I do in this situation.

You shouldn't have any problems when you apply for the dependant visa from India assuming you comply with all the requirements. On form VAF10 you will have to disclose your UK immigration history including the name change.

Your employer must/should inform UKBA of the termination of your employment within 10 days of you leaving them (check that they have done so). Following this notification UKBA will write to your UK address curtailing your current visa but this is not going to happen for at least a month and will have no bearing on your dependant visa application.

Thanks for the reply. I am so relieved to read this. I have now written an email to my current employer to notify me, once they send request to UKBA for cancellation.
Thanks once again.
