I am trying to fill up my application for flr m and i am really confused about the method of payment.

does anyone know if they accept visa debit cards since in the application it is mentioned that they accept visa credit cards, nothing is mentioned about visa debit cards.

please help.

It does not say they accept credit cards, as that would be too specific and restrictive. The form states that they accept cards and then goes on to say what type of cards. If your card carries the visa logo it will be accepted.

HOW CAN YOU PAY?
You must pay by one of the methods specified below.
• Cheque
• Postal Order
• Credit card1 - Visa (including Electron), MasterCard or American Express (Amex)
• Debit card - Delta, Maestro* (including Solo)
• Banker’s draft (payable to the Home Office)
* Maestro - we will accept any Maestro card if you are applying in person at a Public Enquiry Office but only Maestro cards issued in the UK if you are applying by post or courier.


This is what it says in the application form. Nowhere it is mentioned that you can pay by visa debit card.

Can you please clarify?

Visa debit cards can be used at any merchant displaying the visa logo. You will have no problems.
