Salary Certificate

Anyone who has got salary certificate from employer, can you please let me know what exactly it stated. Did it state your salary for each month of the claimed period or did it give a general salary breakdown?

Why do you need salary certificate from employer ????
They do not ask you to submit this. But if U want, I believe you could submit it as additional but not as substitute to what you are asked e.g.

- ITR
- Pay slips
- Bank statements

Sorry I meant letter from employer regarding salary. I have to submit this as the ITR I am providing does not cover the whole period I am claiming for.
