I received a text on 6th Nov and no communication after that, I paid extra for doc to be returned by secure delivery, the payment was taken from CC on 6th Nov.

I submitted on 29th but they must have got the next day but I got text message on 4th so i took it as 4th. probably they must have got the next day.

Congrats! I've posted my using Check and Send on 13/11 I've not received any SMS or confirmation, I got SD tracking number but it says status will be updated when mail reaches mail center...am I wrong in assuming that post office sends our documents and some body signs in passport office?

Wow!!!

After British passport, next day flew to Berlin...and no issue at all. My passport was checked for less than 2 seconds and was in Berlin, then to Austria, prague...no problem at all...

Ealrier, I had to appear in person for schenegan VISA with all documents like; salary slip, accountant letter, bank statement, pay 80 pounds plus travel to VISA centre expenses/timeoff for that...now all easy...

Also, once you get Passport, please apply for free NHIC card here...
