Hi everyone,
I came across this extremely helpful forum recently as I have been impatiently waiting to get a reply from Home Office regarding my 10 year long residence application.
I would like to be included in the Skydrive excel sheet so please add my timeline if you wish:
Application Sent: 30/09/2013
Acknowledgement Letter Received: 09/10/2013
Biometrics Invitation Received: 22/10/2013
Biometrics enrolled: 22/10/2013
Passport and ID: Pending
It has been great reading all these posts as naturally I am a nervous wreck right now, but it is good to know that there are quite a few of us on the same boat.
Good luck everyone!

Hi all,
I am going to apply for my ILR next week and was wondering if you could help on an issue; I have travelled to a non-english speaking country twice during the past 10 years and the entry/exit stamps are in Arabic alphabet (different calendar). I have my e-tickets for both occasion to support the dates. Would this be ok? or do I need to translate those dates?
Many thanks

I am about to put in my application.
Unfortunately, I have noticed I exceeded the 540 days. Or based on my estimate cause I don't remember my flights 10 years ago.
Should I proceed anyway? No lawyer. Straightforward case otherwise. 5.5 years student + 2 years PSW + 2.5 years T2(G).
I had heard people a long time ago being granted cause CW is being generous.

Then your case is not straightforward. I strongly recommend you to use a solicitor if you want to apply. I have heard some have successfully applied even if they have been away for more than 540 days. But I have also heard the HO take these leaves quite seriously.

**** Professional Advise Please****
I am applying for ILR next month on 10 years long residence basis. In total i was absent for 160 days in 10 years period. I have found an error today on my passport that it has been stamped with incorrect month. I travelled outside UK on 31 Dec 2011 and returned on 16 Feb 2012 with 47 days absence. My passport has got exit stamp from Pakistan with 16 Feb 2012 while upon arrival in UK immigration officer has stamped with 16 Jan 2012 instead of 16 Feb 2012. Such a Idiots and fools working there. Now there is an error made by UK immigration officer with 16 Jan 2012 instead of 16 Feb 2012. I wish to get a professional advise that how should i proceed with this error. Shall i enclose a covering letter with my application. Home office will check it any ways but i dont want to take any risk without an advise.
Many thanks in advance
ALI

Hi Guys,
I have applied my ILR (10 year) on sep 28. I am still waiting for my approval. I hopping that to be approve that soon.
I am in the process applying FLR (M) for my wife once they grant my ILR. She is currently on TIer 1 dependant since Oct 2010. Our child is also tier 1 dependant visa since June 2012. He was born in India.
Now my questions are:
1) I believe I have to fill in FLR (M) for my wife. What visa form is for my child since he was born in India? I have recently seen changes in the form. I dont know what is the purpose of FLR (FP) form?
2) My wife has got MBA from India. I can see her university on PBS calculator. Do we still have to get UK NARIC certificate for English language criteria?? Is the evidence of PBS calculator is enough to meet English Language criteria.
3) She is in UK Since Oct 2010. I believe she will be able to apply SET(M) once FLR(M) approves since she has already spent 2 years in UK. However, she was away to India from Nov 2011 to Sep 2012 for pregnancy.
Please advise.
Thanks
Kunal

Hello Kushi,
i have been following up the August applicants on this forum and i believe some of them have already received positive news just before Christmas. I am sure you will hear from them soon, now that the Holiday is over. Fingers crossed. I wish you success.

Hello arashmg,
i would advise you to submit your e-tickets together with your application to prove to the CW the actual dates you traveled out of the country, although if your out-of-country absences does not exceed the required days stipulated on the guidance then you are fine. I do not think you are required to translate the dates .
Hope this helps.
